Do emoji count as one character or two?
One. The counter measures Unicode code points, which matches how X, Instagram and most platforms count emoji.
How are sentences detected?
By terminating punctuation — periods, question marks, exclamation marks and ellipses. Text without a terminator counts as one sentence.
What counts as a paragraph?
Blocks of text separated by at least one blank line.
