- Choose Indonesian (terbilang) or English.
- Copy the spelled-out result into your invoice or document.
Frequently asked questions
Does it follow standard Indonesian terbilang rules?
Yes — including the irregular forms: 1000 is "seribu" (not "satu ribu"), 100 is "seratus", and 11 is "sebelas".
How large a number can it spell?
Up to the trillions (triliun) in both languages — comfortably beyond any invoice amount.
Can I paste numbers with dots or commas?
Yes. Thousands separators are ignored, so 1.500.000 and 1,500,000 both read as one and a half million.
About this tool
Indonesian documents routinely require numbers written out in words: invoices and receipts state amounts as terbilang, legal contracts spell out sums to prevent tampering, and school assignments practise it. Type 1500 and get "seribu lima ratus" — including the special forms seribu, seratus and sebelas that trip up manual spelling. The English mode does the same for international documents ("one thousand five hundred"). It handles values up to the trillions and negative numbers, accepts thousands separators in the input, and converts one number per line for batch work like an invoice column.
