Random word picker
Paste a list and let chance pick the winner — or several.
How to use
- Paste your options — one per line for multi-word entries like names.
- Set how many to pick.
- Click Regenerate to re-draw; each draw picks distinct entries.
Frequently asked questions
Can the same entry be picked twice in one draw?
No. Picks within a single draw are distinct, like pulling names from a hat without putting them back.
How do I keep full names together?
Put one entry per line. With line breaks present, the tool treats each line as one entry rather than splitting on spaces.
Is the draw fair?
Every entry has an equal chance — selection uses a Fisher–Yates shuffle driven by the browser's cryptographic random source.
About this tool
Whether it is a giveaway winner, who presents first, tonight's dinner, or a random sample of survey respondents, the fair way to choose is to let randomness do it. Paste your options — separated by spaces or one per line (lines keep multi-word entries like full names intact) — set how many to pick, and the tool draws that many distinct entries using the browser's secure random source. Because picks are distinct, drawing three winners from fifty names never selects the same person twice. Regenerate re-draws from scratch any time.
